About T. M. Demmitt:

T. M. Demmitt was born in Seattle, WA. He grew up in the Tri-Cities area of Washington state and graduated from Kamiakin High School in Kennewick, WA, in 1976. T. M. served in the U.S. Navy as a Reactor Operator on the USS Sam Houston, SSB(N) 609, a nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine (where he learned the value of a well-crafted sea story), and worked in the commercial nuclear power industry for 27 years as an operator and training instructor. He is now retired in central Florida, where he lives with his wife, Becky, and twin children, David and Emily.

T. M.'s writing style is best characterized as informative, imaginative, and detailed, with occasional irreverence added for good measure. His major work, "The Psychic War," showcases these traits. While he has not yet received any awards or public accolades, his unique approach to storytelling holds promise for the future.

T. M.’s love of science fiction has been an ongoing affair since the 1960s watching TV’s Star Trek, along with the movies Robinson Crusoe on Mars, Forbidden Planet, and When Worlds Collide. Then he read many books such as the Lensman series by E. E. ‘Doc’ Smith. More recent influences in sci-fi include Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis series, and his favorite: Babylon 5. These influential series had something in common: They each had compelling characters and a long story arc that unfolded over a period of many episodes, each a story unto themselves, but only offering a piece of the larger story. So, when T. M. decided to write a story for publication, he chose a similar format or style, the telling of a long story in bite-sized chunks. It should be no surprise then that he plans several additional stories to comprise the complete Psychic War Saga.
